Hello everyone!

Just a quick announcement regarding a couple of subjects.

1. OYSTERS

I know many of you love Papa's Oysters. FORGET IT! :(

One - they are out of season.

Two - IF one could possibly desire Oysters, I am not certain WHERE on earth they would come from... possibly, somewhere on the eastern sea-board.

Papa is looking into the matter so that WHEN the season begins again in late September, we might be able to enjoy those golden delicacies. BUT hoping for Oysters from the salty Gulf waters, Lord, it might be a couple of years... who rightfully knows.

Right now, I am bringing in deep water 'Grouper' & 'Red Snapper' filets that are around 3/4 Lb. each. VERY DELICIOUS!

2. SUMMER HOURS

People are asking Papa about 'SUMMER' hours. We ONLY have permanent hours now ever since Papa had open heart surgery.

For general information: THURSDAY: 4:00-8:00 p.m.
FRIDAY & SATURDAY: 4:00-9:30 p.m.
SUNDAY & MONDAY: 4:00-8:00 p.m.

Papa does have 'Private Parties' at the Cafe and Catering for your Special Events ! I am amazed just how many do not know that we DO offer Catering (Papa Boudreaux's Cajun Cafe & CATERING Company)

3. GARLIC SHRIMP CHEEZ GRITZ

Since we have had so many request for Papa's 'GARLIC SHRIMP CHEEZ GRITZ', we are going to make this a permanent item on the menu for most nights we are open. There may be some nights we may NOT offer this item because of a certain 'Special' recipe we are promoting.

4. CRAWFISH BOIL

Next expected Crawfish Boil... the First week in November. We will certainly send out announcements when our first crop appears.

Remember, ALIENS have to drop them off from other planets (why else would they look like they do ???... BUT, they taste sooooo goood!) *wink wink*

Papa Boudreaux's Cajun Shrimp Boil

When: June 4th & June 5th

Time: 4:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. ( or, until we run out !!! )

Comes w/ Corn on the Cobb, Red Potatoes or French Fires
and Kielbasa Smoked Sausage, French Bread & Butter,
and Roumalaude Sauce or Cocktail Sauce

Nice and large Shrimp, boiled Salty and seasoned with Papa's Herbs 'N' Spices... your bottom lip guaranteed to tingle after eating the 3rd Shrimp!

First Come-First served. You can purchase your ticket(s) in advance! Crawfish Boiled as only Papa can cook 'em served in a large tin tray, with Corn-on-the-Cob, Red Potatoes, Celery, Onions.

BYOB (Beer)!!!

Tea & Soft Drinks extra

Our regular menu will also be served in addition, during our regularly scheduled times on Friday & Saturday night.

Hello Everyone:

I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving !

In celebration, we are closed on Thanksgiving Day, however WE WILL BE OPEN 'THANKSGIVING EVE' (4:00 - 8:00 p.m.) because many of you have requested that we be open...because everyone wants to eat out and not eat what they are cooking for Thanksgiving Day!

So, papa is going to have his Traditional 'Oyster Stew' (soup), and Crawfish & Shrimp Bisque and Jambalaya on the Eve of this Holiday.

So, come on by and bring your family !

Yes, we are open the day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday) and the entire weekend !!!

I am sorry to announce that Papa's Dickson location has closed. However the hours of the Santa Fe location will be changing effective September 14th and will be open 7 days a week!!!

Coming Soon! Papa will begin serving Cafe Du Monde Coffee and Beignets (French Powdered Donuts) on Sunday mornings. Keep an eye on Papa's website for announcements regarding this Special Menu item!
